“ Literally amazing! I have a wheat and a peanut allergy. I'm not anaphylactic, but get incredibly puffy. When I mentioned it, they came out and explained how they were going to handle my food different and mark it. If it doesn't come out with a purple flag, they made a mistake and don't touch it. How careful and caring is that?! Steven was my server, so kind! Michael came to talk about the allergen protocol in place, blew my mind! Burger was great, too! Service exceeded expectations! ”
“ Dined in 25 December 2023 We didn't have any Christmas day plans. We took a walk around the area and came across Hard Rock Cafe. We decided to stop in and eat. We arrived early afternoon, after 1pm. The receptionist greeted us, and I asked if there were any tables available. There was not, but there were seats in the bar area, which we decided to take. We sat on an available high top and ordered our drinks and food at the bar. We ordered the Salomon entrée that came with mashed potatoes and green beans, and we added a side of mac and cheese, wings, and shrimps. The shrimps were a bit salty, but still okay. The Salomon was good, and so were the wings. For drinks, we had a virgin, Pina colada, and a strawberry/mint lemonade. Again, my lemonade was a bit too sweet, but as the ice melted, that helped dilute the sweetness. For Christmas day, the restaurant did not seem overly busy, nor was it too loud. Our meals came out in a reasonable time. It did not seem like we had waited too long. I would definitely visit again. ”
“ Great themed venue which is better value than other chain restaurants. ”
“ Hard Rock Cafe has shown exceptional standards for a while now, with a fantastic level of both food and service, which is why I feel the need to upgrade them to a full five-star rating, from my review last year (which I accidentally deleted!). This is one of five Hard Rock Cafe locations alongside three in London and one up north in Newcastle. It is a big American brand, it started in London with locations developing across the world from the UK to Azerbaijan and beyond. Of course, this is a touristy place, as you notice through the merchandise and the "Hard Rock Cafe Manchester" branding, but this is more than a place to say "I've been", this is a place which locals and tourists can visit alike to have a Rockin time. This is one of the largest Hard Rock Cafe's in the country, it is over multiple floors, the atmosphere with the music is great, and they've made the store look pretty cool, with the store, consisting of merch (pin badges, glasses, clothing and more) right by the front entrance. The food is a little pricey, but this is generally pretty common with themed restaurants, and I do think it represents value for money based on the factors. I've paid a similar price at fancy / high-end places which have been much worse than here. The portion sizes are pretty good. One of my favourite dishes is the Rack of Ribs, for £18.75 you get a full rack of ribs, with a portion of fries as well as a small pot of beans and coleslaw. The ribs are juicy with one of the best BBQ sauces I've ever tried, unlike some places the ribs also have a nice amount of meat. I also love the idea of combining a mixed grill plate, for the same price, where you can get a small chicken breast with a 1/2 rack of ribs, I find this balance of meat adds even more flavour, making my favourite dish here. The food is normally cooked and seasoned well, I could even eat the fries by themselves, but why would you want to? The steaks here are generally pretty good, again they're probably better than what you'd pay much more money for at a "fancy" place. It is nice to see them have gluten-free buns for the burgers, although I don't particularly like them (I hate seeded bread!), I know they're very popular with coeliacs. If you're visiting here, be sure to try the cocktails, they have a huge selection of alcohol. The sangria and long island iced teas are especially good, it also works out excellent value as you can pay a small surcharge to keep a souvenir glass and get a larger drink! One of the best-themed restaurants I have been to, it even is one of the best HRC locations I've been to as well, they did well with COVID precautions keeping everyone safe, but now the live music and events are slowly coming back so they're for sure worth a visit! ”
“ The dishes and the cocktails were really good. We didn't wait long for a table. The prices were correct. ”
“ Okay, shot glass #60 is now in hand! The Manchester hard rock cafe is in a really cool spot, amongst the shopping malls and other restaurants in the area. It is really beautiful here, and the staff were nice in just talking with them for a few minutes. ”
“ My bucket list is to attempt to visit all HRC locations!! So, I'm now crossing off Manchester location! Great location inside the Printworks building. Located downtown in Manchester next to the National Football Stadium amazing HRC sign in neon. Staff was extremely friendly to this foreigner and even though they had ran out of the classic pins one staff member actually traded me for a limited edition pin which was amazing! Food was consistent with all the HRCs I've visited. But again, my adventure to these locations is the history of music and not about the food. ”
